When I started Climate King in 2018, I had one goal in mind. To give installers, shop owners and resellers in the Netherlands an air conditioning wholesaler they could build on. No endless waiting times, no unclear warranty terms and no supplier who becomes unreachable after the sale. Let me start with the product I am personally most proud of. The Climate King AirDeck Pro<\/a>, our flat roof air conditioner, is as far as we know the only system in Europe designed entirely for flat roofs and dormers that both cools and heats.<\/p>\n

What makes the AirDeck Pro interesting for you as a partner is that it solves situations other air conditioners are simply not suited to. Think of extensions, garden offices or dormers with no room for a traditional outdoor unit on the facade. The indoor panel is only 4.9 centimetres high and the outdoor unit 28.3 centimetres, which means the system often stays completely invisible from street level. Technically the AirDeck Pro is strong as well. It keeps cooling up to an outdoor temperature of 46 degrees and heating down to minus 5 degrees, and it works with the environmentally friendly refrigerant R32 in a sealed, pre-filled system. Something many installers underestimate is that the AirDeck Pro is fully usable in winter too. Because the system keeps heating down to minus 5 degrees outdoor temperature, it is not just a summer solution but an air conditioner that serves as heating all year round. Many people automatically think of summer when they hear air conditioning. I understand that thought, but it is no longer accurate. Our systems are heat pumps, and a heat pump is first and foremost a heating appliance that happens to cool as well. Our split air conditioners keep heating down to minus 20 degrees outdoor temperature, and the AirDeck Pro<\/a> down to minus 5 degrees, both with a high energy label.<\/p>\n

For you as a partner this may well be the most underused selling point we have. If you only talk to customers about air conditioning in summer, you leave the rest of the year on the table. Start the conversation in winter about heating, about the energy bill and about an alternative to an old gas boiler, and let cooling in summer be the added benefit. That way you keep revenue coming from the same range all year round as an installer or retailer, instead of only in the months from June to August.<\/p>\n
