WARRANTY CONDITIONS CLIMATE KING BV

All Climate King products delivered in the Netherlands have a standard factory warranty with a term of 2 years after delivery. Dormer / flat roof units have a factory warranty of 3 years. For all split air conditioning systems of Climate King there is a factory warranty up to a maximum of 5 years*. Within this period defective parts will be exchanged and these replacement parts will cost you nothing, if the warranty conditions below are met.
Replacing the parts should be done by a specialized installer.
In consultation we can also pick up a device for repair, the cost of collection / return are the responsibility of the buyer. Also, in consultation the device can be brought to us for repair, you can not wait and must come back another time to pick it up.

Terms

  • At Climate King’s request, the purchase invoice for the entire installation and serial number(s) of the unit(s) in question must be able to be presented in writing.
  • The equipment is installed according to Climate King regulations.
  • Any fault code and the nature of the fault must be specified.

Exclusions

  • There is no warranty if the defect was caused by external conditions such as weather, vandalism or over/under voltage.
  • The defect has occurred due to overdue maintenance, severe contamination, placement in an aggressive environment or improper installation.
  • The capacity of the air conditioner is too low for the deployment (split units).
  • The nameplate is removed or illegible.
  • There is no rating plate present on the outdoor unit (split units).
  • Labor costs and other (external) costs and defects resulting from the failure of the Climate King equipment are not covered by these warranty conditions.

Types of warranty:

Different warranty periods and conditions apply to each product. All of our split air conditioning systems from Climate King come standard with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty* and our other air conditioning systems come standard with a two-year warranty.   • Manufacturer’s warranty: Manufacturer’s warranty means you have warranty on the parts of your purchase. In case of a defect, you will receive a new part free of charge; the old part must always be returned. Repairing, shipping
    and/or exchanging parts are not covered by the warranty.
  • Carry Inn Warranty: Systems are not repaired at the customer’s home. Carry Inn
    warranty therefore means that the product must be returned to us if it needs to be repaired or replaced.

Five-year warranty on Split units:

All split units carry a standard 2-year factory warranty and a maximum 5-year factory warranty if the conditions below are met:

  • The system should be maintained annually by a BRL-100 certified installer
  • The system should be inspected annually by a BRL-100 certified installer
  • All work should be documented
  • The purchase invoice must be able to be shown upon request
  • The commissioning report should be able to be shown on request

Three-year warranty on flat roof/dormer units:

All flat roof/dormer units come standard with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty if the conditions below are met:

  • The system must be installed by a Climate King partner
  • All work on the air conditioning system should be documented
  • The purchase invoice of the air conditioner must be able to be shown upon request
  • A warranty request is always submitted by the Climate King Partner who purchased the air conditioner
